Our Story

Meridian Path began in 2013 when a small group of educators and financial professionals recognized a gap in Bangkok's educational landscape. While financial products were abundant, structured education about how to evaluate and use them remained scarce. Working professionals expressed interest in learning about budgeting, investing, and retirement planning, but found few programs that bridged theoretical concepts with Thailand's specific regulatory environment and market conditions.

Our founding team developed a curriculum rooted in established financial principles, adapted for the Thai context. Rather than selling products or promising specific outcomes, we focused on building participants' ability to ask informed questions and evaluate options independently. The first Personal Finance Foundations program enrolled twelve participants. By word of mouth, that number grew steadily as graduates recommended the programs to colleagues and friends.

Over the years, we expanded from one foundational course to three distinct programs, each addressing different stages of financial learning. We maintained small class sizes to encourage discussion and tailored examples to reflect the realities of Thai employment structures, provident funds, and investment vehicles available through the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Our approach remains unchanged: provide clear explanations, practical frameworks, and space for participants to apply concepts to their own circumstances.

Today, Meridian Path serves mid-career professionals, recent graduates establishing their first budgets, and business owners planning for long-term stability. Our educators bring backgrounds in finance, accounting, and adult education. What unites us is the belief that financial literacy should be accessible, relevant, and free from pressure to pursue any particular product or strategy.

Our Standards

Evidence-Based Curriculum

All programs reference established financial principles and peer-reviewed research. We update materials annually to reflect changes in Thai regulations and market conditions.

Participant Confidentiality

Individual financial information shared during consultations remains strictly confidential. We maintain professional standards of privacy and do not share data with third parties.

Small Class Sizes

Programs cap enrollment between 8 and 15 participants to ensure everyone can ask questions, engage in discussion, and receive individual attention when needed.

Independent Perspective

We have no affiliations with financial product providers. Our focus remains on education, not sales. Participants receive unbiased information to make their own informed decisions.

Thai Market Context

All examples, case studies, and scenarios reference the Thai regulatory environment, investment vehicles available locally, and employment structures common in Bangkok.

Ongoing Support

Program graduates can reach out with questions after completion. We offer periodic refresher sessions and maintain an alumni network for continued learning and peer exchange.

Our Values

1 Accessibility

Financial knowledge should not be reserved for those with existing wealth or specialized backgrounds. We design programs for participants at varying levels of familiarity, using clear language and avoiding unnecessary jargon. Our goal is to make complex concepts understandable without oversimplification.

2 Practical Application

Theory without application remains abstract. Each program includes exercises, worksheets, and scenarios drawn from real circumstances Bangkok professionals encounter. Participants leave with tools they can implement immediately, whether building a budget, evaluating an investment option, or projecting retirement needs.

3 Transparency

We are forthright about what our programs cover and what they do not. We acknowledge areas of uncertainty in financial planning and avoid making promises about specific outcomes. Our pricing is clear, our curriculum is described in detail before enrollment, and participants know what to expect before their first session.

4 Respect for Individual Circumstances

Every participant arrives with different financial situations, goals, and concerns. We avoid prescriptive advice and instead provide frameworks participants can adapt to their own needs. Individual consultations honor the complexity of each person's financial life without imposing one-size-fits-all solutions.
